The Hard Work Continues...

Year 11 are to be congratulated on the way they have approached their mock exams and the rest of the school are still very hard at work in all their lessons.

Mr Barr and myself had the pleasure of  visiting year 8 and year 10 lessons this week and we were both very impressed by what we saw – the students are extremely diligent and are producing some excellent work in all subjects.

Golden Book entries this week include Izzy Fahy, Elle Long and Jack Shorten for their outstanding contribution to geography,  Max Andrews, Joe Hickman, Samantha Griffiths, Maya Solanki, Khushi Kothary and Lucy Haynes for  their excellent work in maths  - vey well done to everyone.

We are all very much looking forward to the carol concert on Thursday evening, the musicians and singers have been practising very hard.  I do hope that as many of you as possible will be able to join us at this event.  All staff have been very impressed with the way the students have embraced our focus on improving the environment and recycling in this second half of the term and as a result of this, as a reward, there will be a non-uniform day on the last day of term.

My best wishes for a relaxing and peaceful weekend.
