Lots and lots of learning!

Mr Barr and I have had the privilege of sitting in many year 7 and year 8 lessons this week as we have been evaluating the work of both students and staff in these year groups.  What a delight it has been!  We have both been impressed by the excellent  behaviour and attitude to learning of our Key Stage three students. We have seen outstanding learning in all  subject areas and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thank you to all our year 7 and 8 students for their enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Years 9 and 10 have also been very impressive this week.  They have  taken their end of year exams and assessments very seriously – some even cramming in last minute revision in the sunshine on the field yesterday lunchtime!  All teachers have said how impressed they have been with these students. Very well done to everyone.

Congratulations to the following students who have entered their names in the Golden Book this week: Nathan H, Jacob L, Kyle G, Zac A and Mia D for their excellent progress in literacy, Olivia W for outstanding work in French and Amy G for excellent work in English and PE.
