Preparing for the future...

20th June 2014

The Lower school hall has been a hive of activity over the past two days. We have had a host of professionals in school, who have given their time to take our year 10s through mock interviews.  This has provided invaluable experience for our students and  every one I have spoken to has gained much from the  activity.  Many were very nervous to begin with, but warmed to the task and every single student has appreciated the feedback  they have been given, not only on the way they have completed their application forms but also on their interview technique.

My thanks to everyone who has given up their time to help our students in this way.

Golden Book congratulations this week go to Bethany Webb for her excellent progress in reading and to Tasha Looney for her French.

Congratulations also to Daniel Galloway, one of our year 7 students, who is a superb ice skater. We have heard this week that he came first in the Coventry IJS skating competition. Very well done to him and we look forward to hearing about his continued success in the future.
